Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System Ducati 848 /  EVO / 1098 / S

The new Ducati superbikes and the Akrapovic System are a fantastic combination of our years of experience at the highest level of motorcycle racing and precise handcrafting. The Akrapovic Evolution system releases the maximum amount of power and torque, and serious riders will be able to maximize the bike’s potential on the race track. In addition to performance, the system comes in a full racing look. There is also a much more powerful sound coming out of the two underseat mufflers. You will also save 3.79 kg compared to the stock Ducati exhaust system. The system is not homologated for road use.

848 Performance

The Akrapovic Evolution open system greatly increases the potential of the big twin cylinder engine. Both power and torque are increased over the entire rpm range, with the greatest increase shown in the middle and top of the range. We measured 127.5 HP at 10590 rpm, while the max. increased power of 10.1 hp was measured at 8550 rpm. 

1098 Performance

The Akrapovic Evolution open system greatly increases the potential of the big twin cylinder engine. Both power and torque are increased over the entire rpm range, with the greatest increase shown in the middle and top of the range. Akrapovic measured an incredible 154.4 hp at 9800 rpm, while the max. increased power of 8.5 hp was measured at 10380 rpm.

Features:

• Hexagonal mufflers feature a carbon-fiber outlet cap to match the design of each bike
• Outlet cap, perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are all made of titanium
• Joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality silicon-shielded tempered springs
• Include a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon-fiber muffler clamp
• Conical or cylindrical shaped, hydroformed header and link pipe are made of stainless steel or titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance
• Crossover tubes may be installed based on the results of testing
• Most models come with preinstalled fitting for lambda connection
• Ceramic anti-seizing grease, made especially for use with titanium, is used to prevent seizing, corrosion and excessive wear of parts of the exhaust system made of titanium (due to vibration and extreme temperatures)
• When the position of the exhaust system needs to be changed and the stock bracket is no longer usable a carbon fiber bracket is included
