Can't beat the price! I got rid of my cage so I'm riding this winter. This rain suit is perfect and well worth the money. I went traffic cone yellow so I'm visible. I accidently ripped out the stitches on one of the leg openings but the velcro still keeps it closed. Really blocks the wind so this is perfect for winter. January 12, 2015
Overall a good product One of the reasons I purchased this product was to use it for a windbreaker in cold weather. This means that I will be wearing a jacket for warmth under the rain gear. It worked great for that and allows me to ride comfortably down to 15-20F. The only downside is that the collar is not designed to accomodate the collar of a jacket underneath and the result is that I cannot fully secure the collar of the rain gear when I am wearing the jacket but I did not find that is was an issue as far as wind breaking. Bone Dry. This is what you need. I ordered this rain suit in black because the high-viz yellow looks terrible in the pictures... I need rain gear because I commute 30 miles to work every day on two wheels (three wheels when I know it's going to rain). I have been caught in a couple of heavy downpours and unexpected showers with my textile "winter" jacket and it unfortunately lets some water in. I don't have any waterproof pants either. The day after the suit arrived at my door I got a chance to try it out in a 37 degree, rainy ride to work and after 30 minutes of highway and some surface streets, I arrived bone dry. As for the cold, I was layered up but this rain gear seemed to do a great job of breaking the wind and keeping most of the cold off. Don't waste your money on anything more expensive than this. This does the trick and even comes with a handy tote bag that can fit in almost any saddlebags or tail bag that you have. December 31, 2014
Waterproof, heavy duty, low cost I was looking for a waterproof 2 piece rain suite and landed on this unit because of the hi-viz option, low cost, and generally positive reviews. Overall, I like the design and recognize it is good quality and will certainly keep me dry, however I have two relatively minor issues: 1) the wrists have elastic bands instead of an adjustable Velcro wrap, and the elastic bands are not snug so I anticipate water can run up the sleeve unless I get creative to find a way to tighten that area and seal out water or place the elastics over the gauntlet portion of my riding gloves which is probably the intended design strategy and 2) the suite itself is heavier duty than I anticipated and consumes more pack space than I expected or wanted; it will fit into my Nelson RIgg 1060 Sport Tail bag but consumes the majority of space when the tail bag is not expanded. Because the rain suite is used so infrequently I'll most likely place it under my tail bag. The fit is true to size. I wear a small 4 season Revit jacket - pant set and the small rain suite fit over the riding gear perfectly. The hi-viz color is excellent and I recommend this option. December 29, 2014
Product is well made The suit arrived quickly as usual, and as others have said it is very bright. The size is slightly small but I would order bigger since it should go over your regular gear. For example I am 6"1 165 and got a large and the fit is fine. Overall would recommend, the suit seems very well made which is why I opted to spend a bit more. Don't expect much airflow, but as the same time it is completely waterproof. December 16, 2014
Great Jacket, So So Pants I took this rain suit on a trip from Connecticut to Colorado and back again. Saw rain on the plains as well as the mountains. I cant say enough about the jacket, it fit over my Roland Sands leather jacket with no problem even with the armor in. The Jacket kept me dry in pouring rain outside of Wichita and warm going over Wolf Creek pass in CO. Great jacket, easy to put on stopped on the highway and functions as intended. Very glad I purchased this before I left. The pants on the other hand have no fly, and were too short for my legs. I'm 5'10" and have a medium build. Off the bike the pants are easy to put on with the Velcro at the bottom of the legs. However on the bike the pants hiked up above my ankles and let the rain in. I was constantly pulling down the cuffs of my pants to try and cover my socks and top of my boots. So after 600 miles or so in the rain my socks and boots were soaked but the rest of me was bone dry. Great Jacket, so so pants. December 15, 2014
Does what it says...and nothing more. Got this suit to wear in the warmer rainy season in NC for commuting. Being fully waterproof, it doesn't breathe at all, so you will get hot and clammy when it stops raining. It definitely wont win you any style points, but the high-vis yellow is VERY visible, which is what you want during a rainstorm. It fits over my jeans and spid leather armored jacket just fine (definitely wear some sort of armor under it...this will not do well in any sort of crash.) Makes you look a little bulky, but it's a small price to pay for staying totally dry. At this price point, it is a perfect rain-suit. September 24, 2014
quality suit for the price This rain suit is well worth $60. Absolutely no leaks for me with my waterproof boots and gloves in its first steady rain. Yes the crotch is leak free. Neck is a bit small with a sweatshirt or jacket underneath. The hiviz is nice and bright. I only wish it had some vents in the back as it gets quite warm in town over 85 degrees without any rain. Quality seems good and it should last me a while. August 12, 2014

Shaun B: Great price; was looking for a hi-viz rainsuit to wear over my Alpinestars Capetown jacket and Icon Compound pants. I wanted something that I could slip on over my gear quickly and that had pants with stirrups. Taking a chance with these as there were no reviews. Mar 29, 2014
A shopper asked: what about rain seepage in the crotch area.. seems a lot of suits have that issue and people complain about it? It's not fun! May 9, 2014

Shaun B: I haven't tested this yet but the seams on this suit seem very tight all over. I've had a few rain suits over the years and this one appears to be better than any I've had. For the price, I think it's hard to beat. Also the Hi-viz is VERY H-viz which is what you want when you're caught riding in the rain. May 9, 2014

Michael C asked: Is it possible to wear a small motorcycle backpack underneath? The Icon Squad 3, in particular. Nov 16, 2014

Eduard R: I would say it will be uncomfortable as is like a wind breaker and the martial is not flexible. Try a bigger size but you will run a chance of rain getting in :-) Nov 16, 2014

Harald Kausland L: Probably not. The fit is quite tight. And in the event that you skip the backpack it might get uncomfortable during high speeds. Nov 16, 2014

MIKE C: Yes we have done this a couple of times Nov 16, 2014

Don G: Maybe if you went an additional size up Nov 16, 2014

Shaun B: If the backpack were quite slim it would fit - I wear this suit over my Alpinestars Capetown jacket and there is a bit of room in the back; I haven't tried my backpack however it is large and would not fit underneath the rain jacket. My jacket is XL as is the rain suit. Nov 16, 2014

Eric H: only if you up-size, but then it will likely be baggy and get beat to shreds flapping in the wind. I had this problem just oversizing by one size to fit over riding gear.
I think you'd be better off putting your things in a dry-bag and shoving in your backpack.

A shopper asked: will the pants and jacket fit over armored gear? Dec 16, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
W A: I wear a Dainese jacket with the titanium shoulder cups etc... I would say it will fit over armored gear. This rain suit worked excellent in a 70 mile ride with rain the entire distance. Dec 17, 2014
Reply to W Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Harald Kausland L: You might have to get a size larger than your armored gear. I wear them over AGV leathers. The material is quite thick so the fit might be tight. Dec 17, 2014
Shaun B: I bought in XL and it fits over my Icon leather pants and my XL Alpinestars jacket, both of which have CE armor Dec 17, 2014

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt W: Yes it goes over water proof boots so as not to drip water into the top of your boots. Has plenty of velcro for proper adjustment to fit you. Great product. Nov 16, 2014

Brian D: Yes, it does go over boots, but it's a little snug. I wouldn't recommend tucking it inside though. Nov 16, 2014

Joey R asked: Will armored jacket and pants fit underneath? Dec 16, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RICKY K: Yes, this rain suit jacket fit over my Cortech textile jack with both the shoulder armor and elbow armor and both jacket liners. The pants also fit over my Tour Master riding pants with knee armor, hip pads and with the internal liner.

The pant fit over my Dainese TRQ-Tour Gore-Tex boots as well.

However, if you have short boots (just above the ankle) the pants may not be long enough to go over the short boot. But if you have full height boots (like the ones I have), the length will be fine, (at least for me, the length was good).

Erin K: I bought this for my bf for christmas, and although he has not tried it on yet, I did try it on as I ride too. Under my leather jacket and jeans, the rain suit fits well, although very baggy in the legs for me (I got a large for him) and I know he's built a bit bigger than me... Only thing I found slightly restricting was the neck area but in a rain storm I'd rather have that snug then loose. If it works for him, I plan to buy myself one in a size down. Dec 16, 2014

Alejandro h: Yes an armored jacket will fit underneath. I currently wear a medium alpine star jacket and a medium tour master armored over pants underneath a size medium. I also wear over my alpine star jacket but underneath the rain jacket. its a little tight but fits Dec 16, 2014

Michael C asked: Does it have a hood? Nov 18, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Andrew B: It doesn't have a hood, but it does fasten snug around the neck, I have had no issues with water getting in, and I have been riding in some hard rain. Dec 3, 2014

Martin C: No Hood but it's a solid rain suit. Dec 4, 2014
