AGV Sport Stiletto Short Gloves
Exactly what I was looking for but not tested. Fortunately,
I usually wear Teknic Lightning full gauntlets but on those hot summer day they are to much. I brought the AGV Stilettos for really hot days when the gauntlets are to much, well its like night and day. The Stilettos are not armored like the Lightning so they would not withstand the same abuse but I feel they have sufficient well placed armor and would protect if called upon and they do keep your hands cool. I actually brought the white to further increase cooling. I like these gloves but I do not have anything to compare because this is my first set of summer gloves.

Good gloves for the money.
I ordered the size Large first, but they were definitely too small, and I don't have huge hands. Returned them, which was easy (thanks RevZilla), and ordered the X-Large. At first they were stiff, and the stitching in the thumb area chafed a bit, but after a few hours of riding they softened up. Now they're great! Very comfortable, very light. They are a bit clumsy when off the bike (fueling up, zippers, etc.), but not excessively for motorcycle gloves. The leather material on the fingertips also works (sort of) with touchscreens.
Definitely worth it.

Elastic wrists ripped.
Wore them twice but noticed the elastic band on the left glove had ripped clean off at the stitching on the lower wrist side when I went to put them on for my third ride. I've been cautiously slipping them on ever since and have noticed that the right side is beginning to rip as well. They looked really nice but they definitely do not hold up.

Great price, Good breathability, Good Protection
The gloves fit well, and seem to offer all the protection you would need for most medium speed crashes, while also being light and breathable.
They obviously don't have the same protective quality of heavier gloves with gauntlets, but they're sturdy and great for the price and hotter climes.

Good lightweight glove
These are good lightweight gloves. I bought size Large, and for the most part they are a perfect fit except that the length of the thumb holes seem a few millimeters too short...Maybe my hand proportions are abnormal.
I should try the XL, but I feel like the rest of the glove would then not fit properly.
Overall I think the gloves are a good.

I got these gloves in the mail and took them out for a test drive on my 07 Yamaha majesty. During this trial ride I was rear ended by a z71 going 40mph. I flew 15 feet before hitting the road. The gloves are nicked and torn a little bit, but they did the job. My hands have no damage to them what so ever. I know if I did not have these gloves on my hands would be cut and broken. These gloves look good, feel good and work good. I highly recommend them.

Solid Choice, ACTUALLY WRECKED!
Yes I actually wrecked with these on, locked up the front wheel of my ninja when I saw a deer through a corner going about 25mph. I am fine and still wear the gloves. When it happened, I slid face first, and skidded on the palms of these gloves, the padding ripped a little and there is a hole in the thumb, but they did their job by protecting me, and I only had a bruise on my thumb. Bike is fine too, FYI! I wore these gloves 5 hours straight when getting my license in PA. Note: these gloves had a break-in period for me. They were a little tight and cut off the circulation in my hand some, but after a couple of months and an adjustment to my levers, they feel great. Definitely not a winter glove, hands were cold after a half-hour night ride in the mid 50's. I have the red ones, they're pretty cool.

AGV Sport Stiletto Short Gloves
This glove should be on every riders list This glove is one of the best I have seen out their. Can't beat the price of the glove and looks, also very good feel when riding feels like you are wearing nothing. Fitment would be inline with alpine-stars hope this helps anyone looking to get these gloves.
