AGV Sport Sniper Jacket
Great for extending your riding season.
Gear geek Joe was extremely helpful with selecting this jacket. He even went and pulled one from stock to give me his impressions of fit and finish. Shipped fast and arrived quickly.
As is stated it defiantly runs small, especially in the waist. I like my riding gear to be snug fitting so I opted for a Large. For reference; I'm 5'11" 175lbs athletic build (wide shoulders/narrow waist), my summer mesh jacket is the Scorpion Hat Trick in size Medium. The AVG fits comfortably with the liner and my hoody on. Snug across the back and chest through the arms. However the waist is very tight. I have a flat stomach, not a 6 pack but toned, so the gut is good just the bottom hem of the jacket is tight. I have the adjusters all the way loose so I might just have a tailor put in stretch panels on the sides if it gets annoying. All that said I bought this as a "winter" jacket so the tight fit seals the air out very well and I don't notice the fit it while riding.
The armor is all CE rated, even the back pad. It is well designed and should give me plenty of protection should I ever find myself shiny side down. Hopefully I'll never have to test it. The back armor is very large and stiff. You definitely feel its presence but it's not obtrusive or limit movement on the bike. If you are barrel chested it could be annoying on a long ride.
I had a chance to ride it in 34F weather. It did a great job keeping the wind out and warm in at 70 mph. The thermal liner that comes with the jacket is junk. Very thin and cheap feeling. Not a problem for me as I removed it and just wore my hoody, didn't miss the liner.
I purchased the jacket in the red trim. The styling is super cool, bold but not obnoxious. It's well built with solid seams, quality zippers, and rugged material. For reference all the grey looking material is high quality reflective material so that adds to the safety of the jacket with out hurting the style. The material is breaking in very quickly and overall it's comfortable to ride in. The venting is not all that good but that's a big plus for a cold weather jacket. ( Thus the low score, in this case low flow = great)
In summery; for the money you're not going to be able to beat it if you want to extend your riding season. I've worn it indoors and it definitely keeps the heat in, so I don't see it as a warm weather jacket. Riding in near freezing temps it blocked the wind nicely and my hoody helped with the insolation. The armor feels more then up to the task if called upon. Only gripe is the very tight fit across the bottom of the jacket. I could go to XL but I'm concerned that it would be too loose everywhere else. Again, for the cost, it's a minor gripe.

Really nice winter jacket
The jacket is good for south California winter. It will make you sweat if you put this on at 70 degree.
I'm 6' 2''. 190lbs. Large is a little bit small for me.
Make sure you select one size up.

I bought this jacket to complement my AGV Sport Solaris jacket, which I wear in the summer. Because it is a European cut, be cautious when ordering, as they are sized somewhat small. That being said, I LOVE this jacket. It looks nice, has a lot of storage space, and is not overly cumbersome. I rode yesterday with this jacket. The weather was a moderate 55-ish degrees and I was actually a little warm. Will definitely allow me to ride deep into the fall/winter months, which is why I ordered it. Another great product from AGV Sport!

I am 5' 10.5", weigh 175, and have a 43" chest. I followed Revzilla's advice and ordered one size up with a Large. The jacket fits perfect and is very comfortable. I am happy with what I got for the $$$. Airflow is low and that is what I wanted as that I am in the Pacific NW and it is always 60ish or less degrees here.

I am 6'1, 190 lbs,. ordered an xlarge and it fits snug, also it fits rather slim, if you have a big gut it will never work. Get something made in America, like a bowling shirt. Jacket looks great in solid black. It's brutal hot in the SC summer so I've worn it only in the morning and even without the liner in 70 degree heat it's very hot. Looking forward to wearing it in the fall and with the liner into early winter.

Nice and comfy jacket for everyday use.
Bought this jacket for riding around town, work commuting, and maybe some longer weekend trips, also because its waterproof. Rode for a couple hours in rain, and the textile did keep the water out.
Its advertised for cooler climates, but the jacket also works excellent on wormer summer days without the thermal liner, so its a good choise for the scandinavian/northern climate.
The fit is on the small side, i am a medium usually, bought the large and it fits just right with the liner in while wearing a t-shirt or light sweater. With a hoodie under its a tad tight, but without the thermal liner it fits nicely over a hoodie for a quick ride.
It looks good styling wise, was a bit nervous about the back since you cant see it in the pictures, but it looks good, has the same pattern as the front, and a nice AGVSport logo on the lower back.
Good zippers and pockets, and the protectors are not uncomfertable. Overall im very happy with it, and would recommend it.

Quality durable jacket!
This jacket is very well built, a little on the small side and it could use some pit zips, but its got a couple vent ports in a good spot. Very durable, armors good (ill be upgrading the back pad soon) and its got a thermal liner, so that'll come in handy in the here in the Midwest.

Good First Jacket
I bought the AGV Sport Sniper jacket as my first motorcycle jacket. So far its been great. The price was right plus it has the built in armor like i wanted. I would note that if you plan on wearing anything underneath the jacket, that you order a size up. I am 5'8 170lb's (39in Chest) and the M fits me nice and snug with no room for sweater or hoodie. Its a bit rigid when standing but as soon as i sit down on my bike it feels great. Overall for my first jacket i think that it is good quality and has the basic features that someone would need.
