Fitting and finger bridge
These are the first gloves of their type that I have actually purchased but before buying gloves through Revzilla I shopped around and tried on a lot of other gloves of different sizes and shapes. This gloves fit much better than many of those although the pinky seems to be a bit long.
They have a good amount of air flow and I cant think of a time when I was moving in which they were hot. There protection seems really good, before putting them on U was worried about the palms, but no longer.
One thing you may want to watch out for is the finger bridge. I personally think of it as more off a nuisance but it may save my finger one day.

I had recently purchased some AlpineStars, but found the gauntlet to be too short- the gloves kept letting skin show between jacket and gloves- not good for safety. The AGV Raptors have a long gauntlet that doesn't slip out of my jacket. Also they have amazing armour! They're perforated between the fingers for a nice cool breeze, too! Excellent fit and finish, as I would expect from AGV.

This is the best value I've found in a racing-oriented glove. This is the only glove I found in this price range with advanced features such as pinky bridge, knuckle protection, air injection, and finger sliders. For the glove to be perfect I think it should have plastic wrist protection on the gauntlet instead of just a slider, but at the price range I can live without it.
The only issues I've had are 1.) double closure on the gauntlet is too narrow for use with my textile jackets. Single closure would be better. 2.) Sizing is larger than expected--medium is about a half-size too big 3.) Leather is thick and takes a while to break in.
Overall I'm very impressed with all the AGV Sport leather gear I've purchased. I'm planning to buy another pair of the Raptor gloves as soon as my size is in stock again.

Catherine Y: My friend said that this brand fit him really well and that his last pair lasted him for years. I wanted to purchase the AGV Sport GPR Racing Gloves but you were out of almost all sizes in all colors.Dec 3, 2013
Robert S:Hey Michael R, I have medium size hands short fingers.... ordered medium gloves... gloves fit great ... fingers r tad bit long...Note: leather shrinks! I would note order small! Hope this helps! RobertJun 28, 2014
Nathan S:They run a little long in the fingers. Hand sizing is pretty spot on. I am a medium in most glove sizes and these were slightly on the larger side. Tl;Dr Overall true to size longer in the fingersJun 28, 2014
Charles D asked:How long is the gauntlet on this glove? I have long arms, and I need a long gauntlet so the glove does not pop out of my jacket sleeve. Can somebody who owns a pair of these measure the length of the gauntlet? Thanks in advance...Jul 26, 2014
Luke C:The glove length of a medium size in its entirety is approximately a foot long, and from the wrist to the end of the gauntlet it's about 4 3/4- 5 inches long. I feel like it should be plenty long enough. Jul 26, 2014
Dale H:They wrap around the out side of riding jacket, you need a lot of room in your sleeves if you wear them on the inside, plus I think the are designed to be worn on the outside of the jacket, and they cove very well.Jul 26, 2014
There are two schools of thought: gloves inside jacket sleeves, or jacket sleeves inside gloves. Either way, there has to be enough overlap between the jacket sleeve and the glove gauntlet to ensure that they don't expose the arm when you are reaching for the controls.
I know how long my jacket sleeve is. So, how long is the gauntlet on this glove?

Charles D asked:Is the size chart for these gloves correct? I wear a size L in Alpinestars, and according to the AGV size chart a small in these gloves would be too big. (My hand width measures about 3 5/8, the size chart says small is 4 1/10).Jul 26, 2014
Devanand K:Yeah the size chart is probably right. I got a medium but in a month I feel it's a bit loose in the fingers. One other problem is its very stiff. Long distance riding with these would be a problem. Jul 29, 2014
