Kenneth L: Don't need anything fancy but with decent protection and future add-on options. This is a great price with lots of features. I order one size up and still too tight. Had to return it and order another size up. Like other review, it's the best overall bundle sub $300 leather jacket. Love the return policy with Revzilla and the print out of prepaid return UPS labels. I pay a little bit for a lot of convenience. It's great.Jul 30, 2014

Stephen H: Great price, excellent expected quality. Willow pants are awesome, will match these up. Still don't understand the incompatible zippers between pants and jackets but I will deal with it. At least they give you both sides of the zipper to make it easier.Aug 28, 2013
Vu N asked:Of the three colors listed on this jacket, is the option for the black color the jacket that is almost all black (except for the stitched logo and reflective panels) or is it the black and gunmetal option I've seen around as well? The black/gunmetal is a similar design to the red and blue versions you have posted except the color panels are grey/gunmetal. Thanks.Jul 11, 2014
Glenn S:Yes... But, when mating my size 44 jacket to the size 32 Willow pants there's a few zipper teeth remaining unzipped, about 1 inch on the jacket. That's if I use the full zipper. The small zipper mates perfectly.Feb 27, 2014
Robert S:No, not as is. The willow pants and photon jacket have different zippers (different brand and gauge). The Willow pants come with both sides of the zippers though, I sewed the mating half of the willow pants zipper in place of the existing circumference zipper in the Photon jacket. It didn't take long at all and works just fine. I've used this exact combination for about 10,000 miles and several track days.Feb 26, 2014
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend a couple weeks ago, and I ordered a 42. (He measured a 40). I had to send it right back because it was very tight on him, he could barely get it on. I need to order in a bigger size, i'm just not sure if I should go with a 46, or even a 48? he is about 6 feet tall, about 175 pounds, with pretty broad shoulders. Any advice on which I should order?
RevZilla:While a Ribeye or Prime Rib will offer the most protection, we think the smell would become an issue after a few days - especially in the heat. You'll probably want to look at something a little leaner, perhaps a nice Brisket or, if price isn't an option - Tenderloin. We know you asked us for something that would beef up protection, but honestly we think a slab a pork would do the trick as well. Depending on your local market price, it may even be cheaper!
Wait, what? A figure of speech? Oh! I'm sorry, I totally misunderstood you. In that case, I would recommend the SAS-TEC Back Protector in the 1/11 size, though you would have to trim it to fit (which the manufacturer says will not affect protection - but will void the warranty). SAS-TEC armor is very flexible and comfortable, but probably not as tasty as the cuts of meat mentioned previously. Another option that may work without trimming is the Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro (Type B, Small). The closure system of the back protector pocket is abnormally small, so you may have a tough time getting the backpad in place - but both the SAS-TEC and Forcefield protectors are fairly flexible.Jan 24, 2013
