AGV Sport Mission Textile Jacket
Great entry level hi-vis armored summer rider/commuter jacket for Mr. Potato Head's pregnant wife.
Ok first off I'll get this off my chest
GOODNESS ME! What up with that accordeon stitching on the sides?!
Is this for pregnant people? Did Mr. Potato Head design this? For his pregnant wife's to commute with? Why is a pregnant woman commuting on a motorcycle? Is it because she needs to strap her emergency craving provisions around her torso?
Does this double as a parachute, should a rider on their way to go camping were to accidentally go off of a cliff, and also needs to pack their camping gear inside a jacket? Because that's a pretty big selling feature! That should have been in the product description!
If you're in shape, don't expect this to fit you. Your arms and shoulders will be snug-to-aight, but the rest of you will feel like you're sleeping without a blanket until the wind blows the jacket against you. I'm pretty sure it was designed for trips specifically from a buffet.
Onto the pros!
For the price, it delivered. I'm as bright as a light and give off the suggestion that "Hey, this guy cares about his life and is trying his darnedest to be safe. How about I not run him over/give him a ticket. You go fluorescent man."
The arms fit well.
The hi-vis is highly visible.
The armor is enough to calm new-rider jitters, which also helps with safety.
The internal rain liner is effective and easy to remove/install, but also hot as the dickens, so remove that if it's not raining and you don't need to meet weight. I keep mine on hand balled up in a saddle bag.
The pockets are decent.
The style is great.
BUT GREAT SCOTT THAT FIT IS AWEFUL. I mean, ugh. You know? Just come on. Did your sample population really complain about not being able to curl up into the fetal position and stretch out the jacket into a makeshift tent over them? Did you only sample the most pear-shaped individuals? Either way, conduct your research more responsibly, because this jacket is pre-made for a college student to sneak a keg into the theater for their friends.
Crimony. The fit is correct in the arms but tag on 3 sizes for the belly. What mutant out there is this meant for?!
Have a seamstress remove the accordeon stitching and you'll be fine.

Good cheap jacket, quality will deter
I've had this jacket for 2 years now and have put it to really good use. The jacket is a very nice jacket out of the box. Its comfortable and have lots of pockets, large vents and removable liner.
1)Cheap: $100 cant really go wrong
2)good style: As Jay-Z states, all black everything!
3)simple: no fancy design just straight up jacket
4) padded: Where need be, good stuff!
1)All (fake) leather pieces will deteriorate. I ride with a backpack and my shoulder leathers are now all scrubbed from the wear and tear, so it doesnt look really nice anymore. But I still use it
2) Interior liner will deteriorate: I've taken out the interior liner a couple times and every time it looks worst and worst. I take pretty good care of my jacket and unfortunately as of this season(2 years) the liner has deteriorated like moths have been eating it.. No I dont have moths.
All in all its a fantastic jacket for its price, so really the con's aren't that bad. Its just what i've experienced. In the end the I would recommend the jacket to others.

Good value for the price
Bought the Hi-Vis verison. Quality and color of the material is good. I like the black version but can imagine that will attract heat. Great air flow to torso area but none to arms. Vents open in front and back and thus if the rider is in motion, good ventilation of the mid-section. Arms have absolutely no air flow. There's a waterproof liner which I have not use but can see that it will make the jacket even hotter.

Excellent jacket at a great price.
I ordered the jacket in Hi-Viz yellow. In fact the color is more of a greenish-yellow. Let me tell you, people in other vehicles WILL notice you when you are riding, which makes you feel safer on the road.
Jacket is comfortable, although the fit is on the snug side compared to other jackets. The air vents really do their job. A lot of quality for a very reasonable price.

Good jacket for the price
This jacket is pretty warm for cool morning commutes if you leave in the waterproof liner in and zip up the vents. If it's warm out, take out the liner and open up the MASSIVE vents and you will not be hot in this jacket. With all pads and liner in, the jacket feels a little tight. I normally wear a large long sleeve shirt, so I bought a large, following the recommendation of the video review.

First Motorcycle Jacket
As to having nothing else to compare to, this is a fantastic jacket. Faired well during the first cold rides of the year. Not sure how it will perform in the summer though. The fit in the shoulder and arms was good, but the bottom of the jacket stays way above my beltline. I don't know if they are supposed to fit like that, but the is the only problem so far!

Arms way too small
I used the sizing chart before ordering, but the jacket I received was still too small. I'm normally a 44 sports jacket, and measured 44 inches with a tape. I ordered the Large which was supposed to be 46-48, but it was still too small. I don't think I will order the next size up because the arms were extremely small, even with the liner and armor removed.
I like the jacket's features and style, but it seemed like it was more of a women's cut.

Awesome jacket at an awesome price!
This is a great jacket for summer and winter riding. Very comfortable and awesome looking. I bought this jacket in the summer when it was hot for riding and with the liner out and the vents zipped open there was a lot of ventilation. It was not too hot and still provided good protection with leather areas and pads on the shoulders and elbows. And with the liner in the jacket and the vents zipped up it kept all the wind out and has kept me nice and warm in cold weather. It has a few convenient pockets and one with a headphone slot which is nice for using headphones under a helmet. Overall great jacket from a great brand at an unbeatable price!
