AGV Sport Mission Textile Jacket
Awesome Jacket- the bells and whistles need work
Let's start off with the bad:
The rear-right vent lower zipper pull snapped off when I was trying to zip the vent open. No unreasonable force was applied.
The front-right zipper is well and truly stuck, no matter how herculean my tugging on it gets.
Fortunately, in both cases, this problem can simply be side-stepped, since all the vents have a zipper at the top and at the bottom- if one fails, just use the other.
My only other issue so far: there are fabric loops sewed into the jacket in strategic locations for locking the liner to the shell. One of the two loops in the right sleve has ripped out on me when I was trying to get out of the jacket- that's probably my fault, though. I might be between a medium and a large by the manufacturers recommendations, but I really should have known that I was a large.
With all that out of the way, every issue that I've had with the jacket has been circumventable, and the parts that really matter are really good. The jacket is of good solid construction (I've yet to go down, thankfully, but I doubt it would fail to save my limbs in a crash) and the hi-vis yellow is extraordinarily visible. I get comments on it wherever I go. The black "leather" accents come across quite nicely on this jacket.
I don't think the leather is really leather. But that's a good thing! because of this, the jacket is very adaptable. I got it at the start of the season (and my start to the season might be earlier than others- when the snow is off the ground, it's warm enough). With the liner in and vents closed off, it's comfortable to ride around through a drizzle-y, fifty five degrees cold day. On the other end of the spectrum, once you open up the vents, air flow will keep you cool all the way through (as I've experienced it, I haven't gotten to go higher yet) a heat index of 95.
In short, this jacket has the base-line protection that entering riders want, the coloration that I so adore, and the parts that actually matter are really good- it just needs a little finishing yet on the moving parts.
Get it in hi-vis!

Great for the Dollar
Been using this jacket for about 2,000 miles now. Has held up very well and the large vents provide great air flow during the summer.

Great airflow. Perfect fit.
Very nice product. This was my first jacket. It has features that made it very comfortable to wear during hot humid days.Mar

Amazing jacket, crash tested!
I recently went down while wearing this jacket. 30-40 mph low side accident and landed on my elbow and then onto my shoulder and rolled a couple of times. The elbow pad was in place when I fell and my bones were fine, minus the slight road rash on my elbow/forearm. My shoulder was also protected by the fall from the padding. I purchased the extra back protector for it and that didn't really get used, but regardless I'm glad I had it. It's worth the purchase to replace the flimsy piece of foam you get for your back.
On to the review, this jacket is great. It has everything you want at the price that you won't mind paying. It's very stylish but it puts protection first. The leather panels are very sturdy and they held up well after sliding. If you open up the zippers on the front and back they go all the way down the length of the jacket to give you the most airflow possible. Needless to say, this jacket breathes EXTREMELY well if you let it. The zippers on the arms are a nice touch to getting in and out of the jacket. All the zippers have long pulls to ease their use while wearing gloves and they tuck right into the jacket to make it look cleaner. The neoprene collar feels great and the collar has a button that keeps it shut.
My only gripe is that I'm a fit guy with a 32-34 waist and the jacket wasn't that fitted around my waist. It has the stretch panels to help your range of motion but it isn't very fitting in that area.
TL;DR :This is a great jacket, held up great after a low side, very comfortable and breathable, and worth every penny.

Great jacket for the price
Can't beat the quality for the price of this jacket. Looks and feels very well made. Nice padding on shoulders and elbows. Great air flow with the large front and back zipper openings.
I researched this jacket and saw different comments about the fit. The sizing chart is a bit confusing too. I decided to go with the medium. I am 5'11", 165 with a 33 inch waist and 40 inch chest. If you have a bigger waist you may want to get a large. The sleeve length for me was perfect.

Lots of vents, pockets, and a zip out rain liner. Works well on chilly mornings with vents closed and liner in. Not bad on 90 plus degree days either- we're already getting those in NC this May, so I've checked it all week.
The only complaint is the zipper zips on the wrong side. It sounds like a minor complaint, but it is a pain to zip. Still I would recommend. It's a great buy and much safer than other colors. I've noticed other drivers noticing me, which makes me more confident about my daily commute.

This is a great jacket period, but especially for the price!
-Size: I'm 5' 9", 150 lbs, with an athletic build, and this jacket fits me well except for in the lower torso area. Due to "American" sizing it has room for a gut which I don't have.
-The wind block liner zips in too far from the middle which leaves a cool area for my sternum.
-Air flow is great with the huge zip vents.
-I got the Hi-Viz because I want to try to catch the attention of the mom changing the DVD for her kids, or the guy on his phone.
-I commute to work on my moto. Most mornings are in the low 40s, and afternoons are between 60-80. This jacket does well with that temperature range.
I haven't seen another jacket this good at this price anywhere.

Very good jacket for its price!
Outer shell is very dense and looks duruable.
Leather eblows and shoulders add nicely to protection.
Cuffs have long zippers - putting on gloves is a snap.
Very comfortable overall - when I put it on I feel like a "turtle at home".
Still did not try it neither in rain nor in hot weather, so no comments on that so far.
I'm 6 feet, 175 lbs, 40" chest - tall skinny guy. I took size M, which is just a little but large, but I plan to wear it with compression suit, so that spare space is actually good.
Sleeves are long enough, so if I wanted this jacket for regular wearing, I think I would go one site smaller. This jacket sizing looks "American Cut".
The armor is very basic - soft inserts, although jacket's label claims they are CE-rated, I would not rely on them too much.
