Great price, Great product, Great choice I purchased these gloves wanting something not too expensive but with a good amount of features and nice styling, and that is exactly what i received! I am a new rider and these are my first pair of gloves. They do the job great and look at the same time! The foam cushioning on the inside of the palm is great for long rides and the air flow keeps that annoying sweaty hands problem away. Thumb was a little tight at first and i thought is was because i should have bought a bigger size but after 2 or 3 rides they were broke in and they feel great now! May 13, 2013

Really good gloves with carbon knuckle insert, love 'em Comparing to other summer gloves, these fit perfectly and feel very comfortable. I recommend these for dual sport use. March 25, 2013
Great gloves, but be careful I love the gloves and the features shown in the video, but there are a couple things to take note of. The white is nearly silver (white mesh on top of light grey mesh), and the fingers and palm are different sizes. The fingers of the XL gloves fit perfectly, but the XL gloves have nearly 2XL palms. This means the palm is somewhat loose and not tight against the sides of my hand, but going down a size wouldn't work because the fingers would be too short at that point. Wide hands will love these, narrow hands will not. Other than that, I love them. March 11, 2013
GOOD Glove Runs a little small, but the Air flow is really good, for the low price you cannot beat the quality. I have had a few other paris of inexpensive gloves and this one buy fair offers the best mix of comfort and protection. I recommend. January 28, 2013
I use them for bicycle track racing Bicycle track racing is fast and often dangerous. I chose these gloves for the keirin, madison and other bunch races where speeds can get close to 40mph and the racing is very tight. The protection appears to be good. I have confidence in the gloves although I haven't put them to the test in a crash yet. I always choose size M gloves and these fit very well. Track racing is maximal athletic effort and my local velodrome is outdoors and usually hot. So you can get very hot. The ventilation in these gloves works surprisingly well and keeps my hands cool so long as I am moving. But I have to take them off between races as they are really warm when stationary. If I understand the care label right, these are machine washable. That's great because they are going to get smelly. Construction looks good but only time will say if they are durable or not. I like the look. The yellow and black goes well with my bike and team kit, as you can see in the photos. I hope the agressive look is a little intimidating. Unfortunately the knuckle armor is not quite hard enough to produce a satisfying rap when I tap the rails or someone's helmet (teehee). August 27, 2012
Good glove for the money I bought this for a cheap glove for riding around town. It seems to have good construction and I think it will hold up for at least a season if not more. The air flow is good and it feels good on the hand i.e. now unconfortable stitching. over all a good glove for the price. August 13, 2012
Great gloves for a great price!!! I purchased 2 pairs of these gloves for a buddy and I because we both needed a new pair of summer gloves with adequate protection. We both love these gloves. The airflow is good across the fingers and back of the hand which keeps us comfortable during our summer rides in VA. The wire backing has not been tested (hoping never to test it) but it looks great and feels like it will stand up to some punishment. I also believe they are stylish and comfortable from day one. I would recommend to anyone! July 26, 2012

I was wondering how these gloves compared in ventilation and feel. Is the palm thickness comparable regarding control feel? Do either seem like the palms would wear out quicker? Which would provide better hand cooling? I noticed the SMX-2 has breathable material on the hand but no vents while the Mayhem has less breathable material/mesh but a lot of venting. The SMX-2 also has minor breathable material in the palms while the Mayhem does not. What about size? I was able to try on an XL SMX-2 at a somewhat local shop recently and it was long in the fingers but felt good otherwise. Based on the sizing chart I should wear a Medium SMX-2 but with the XL try on I thought a Large might work. There is no chart for AGV gloves but I normally wear an 8 1/2 or Medium in Held street gloves. With the review stating they are true to size I'd guess I'd want a medium for the Mayhem but am unsure. Primary use for these gloves would be offroad trail riding and dualsport rides.

Answer: 
I have had my smx 2 gloves for a couple of months. The palms are holding up great and I don't anticipate any premature wearing. The ventilation could be better in the palm and my palms do get hot. They feel great and fit great and I am happy with them.
