Great bang for the buck! I bought this AGVsport Laguna textile jacket as my first piece of motorcycle gear. Being tight on money I felt this jacket was the best jacket i could afford at the time - and boy was I right. It's been almost 2 years now and I still wear it! It is pretty comfortable, even when walking around. It is best used for Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter is a no go, even with layers. My only criticism for this jacket it the flimsy back protector...its just 3-4mm of foam!!!...Oh well, at least you have the option of upgrading the back protector, though I'm not sure if you can upgrade the elbows or shoulders... Great Summer Jacket After a thorough amount of researching online, this jacket easily turned out to be the best deal out there in the context of textile, breathable mesh jackets. The armor inspires confidence. The fit is clean and snug. The styling is aggressive. The air flow is phenomenal. The removable liner makes a world of a difference in the cold/rain. Would definitely recommend the jacket considering it's price. August 13, 2013
Great Jacket for the money. Very comfortable! I'm 6 foot tall 150 lbs. I originally got the medium but the sleeves were too short so I replaced for the large. Jacket is super comfortable. Has a fair price tag for what you are getting and has a very moto gp look to it. Great air flow and comfortable to wear even on 90 degree days. Only minor cons. I wish the sleeves were still a bit longer but if you wear gauntlet gloves it wont matter. I also wish the back padding was more tough than just foam padding but again this is a $200 jacket. Not a race suit August 12, 2013
Great Jacket This is a great jacket. It provides protection, while still looking cool. It has a bunch of protective items, but the back pad is not that great. It has good airflow and keeps me relatively cool riding in the heat. Overall a great product. August 12, 2013
Most bang for your buck! I went out for my first ride ever to Bear Mountain this past week. Thank goodness I was fully geared. Did not look through the line of a downhill left turn and dropped my bike while rolling 3 times. The titanium shoulder pads ate up most of the damage along with a minor rip to the mesh material. If it wasnt for this jacket I'd hate to wonder what my shoulder would be like now. Overall pretty happy with my purchase. It can be super hot while in standstill traffic under the sun. But once you get some speed the air flow is pretty good. THE ONLY JACKET WITH TITANIUM SHOULDER PADS AT THIS PRICE POINT! July 1, 2013
Very pleased with this jacket! Great jacket! I feel very protected with it. Air flow is good, but I knew I'd sacrifice some airflow for the extra protection. On cool nights I still find myself putting in the windbreaker to stay warm. Hot days(85ish so far) it fine as long as your moving. It gets a bit hot sitting, but not unbearable at all. I do find that if wearing a backpack it blocks the front vents that channel air to your back, as well as your whole back, so your back can get pretty stuffy. Overall I am super happy with this purchase! May 20, 2013
Durable, Great price, Amazing stying and features This was my first motorcycle jacket i have ever owned because i am a new rider just starting this riding season, i bought the blue one which goes perfectly with my 2009 SV650 SF. I am very glad i chose this jacket. The quality is amazing the styling is just great and it fits perfect. i have rode with it in relatively cold weather (low 50's) and it done great keeping the cold weather out, the inner liner is astounding and does exactly what it is supposed to. But when the weather gets warm don't worry about getting a new jacket! Because the inner liner just zips out with ease and the airflow is great for warmer riding. There is protection everywhere you look in this thing but it doesn't take away from the comfort at all. the very back is extended just slightly so you don't that annoying jacket rise up when leaning over your tank, so that's a great little feature. I absolutely love this jacket, it is a great first jacket at a great price. If i had to "nit-pick" then my only con would be that the inner liner zips and Velcros which sounds great but to me its kind of annoying to me, especially when walking into a quite building and you have the awkward moment of *slow un-velcro* *slow unzip* so maybe buttons? Or just zipper? But that's just nit-picking. Other than that i absolutely love this jacket and recommend it to anyone! May 13, 2013
Great jacket at a great price! Probably one of the only mesh jackets that have a titanium shoulder pad at this price range. Great style, looks aggressive. May 12, 2013

Anthony D asked: Hey, I have seen two different sizing charts and was wondering which size to get, I have a 41.5 inch chest 6'1" tall, 210 pounds. I would rather a little "breathing" room since it has the liner. Any advice?

Jaime A: Hey Anthony,

To help answer your question, I went with the medium jacket and it fits great by itself but a little snug with the liner. It's not strangling me but I know it's there. Also, it's a sport cut which means it feels perfect on a sport bike but not so much when you're sitting upright like on a touring bike. It's not uncomfortable but it's better in a tuck position. I'm 5'9" tall, 160 pounds and have a 42.5 inch chest. If memory serves, I believe I tried the small size but couldn't talk myself into keeping it, hoping it would stretch in time. For what it's worth, I'm glad I went with the medium.

Hope this helps.

Daniel O: Ok, I'm 6'1, 200lbs, athletic build. My shirt size is large and I bought the laguna xl. It feels great when I put it on. To be honest, I haven't used it this year because i couldn't get the bike that I wanted. So, I'm delaying until next spring. If you want to use a long sleeve tshirt underneath it would be fine. A hood sweatshirt won't be as comfortable. Hope it helps. Sep 26, 2013

Garrick V: Im 6 foot tall 150 lbs. I originally bought the medium but returned it because the sleeves werent long enough. I exchanged for large. Sleeves fit perfectly. chest and stomach are slightly large for my body physique but may fit you well. Id recommend the large Sep 25, 2013

A shopper asked: The jacket comes in S, M, L, XL etc but all your size charts for it are in inches with no reference to any of these. What are the measurements on an XL and a L size for the jacket?

In addition what are some of the solid back protectors that will fit in this jacket?

defstar: The size charts didn't help me much either...I ordered the sized based on the size of a normal cold weather jacket that I would purchase at retail which was "large"...and the "large" Laguna fit me well...I'm 5'-11" 180 lbs athletic build...

As for back protectors I chose the Klim Viper...I had to trim it using my original foam pad as a template...took 10 minutes with a razor blade...and was able to put it plus my original back into the pocket...great protection at a great price...

RyanMotonation: You can see the agvsport size charts for the s through xl sizing on the link below. As for the back protectors, I included an image of the back protector area of this jacket as well as the dominsions of the sleeve a protector will fit in...if that helps...

defstar: I went with the Klim Viper...take your original foam pad out and trace it with a sharpy marker on the flat side of the Klim protector then cut out with razor blade...takes about 10 minutes...the protection is great and the price even better... Jul 10, 2012
