AGV Sport Element Vintage Leather Jacket
Best Brown Leather Jacket Available!
This jacket is beautiful. It's made with a fairly thick but supple leather, and the distressing is not overdone. The colour is a tad on the grey side of brown, but some oil or treatment will reveal a beautiful deep brown.
It fits great but will need some breaking in, as the joints are slightly stiff.
The cuffs were very stiff, but after some time spent working the cuffs while I watched a movie, they felt softer and more comfortable while wearing.
Overall this is simply the single best brown leather motorcycle jacket available. The cost is bang on, it has armour, unlike the majority of other brown leather jackets on the market, and it's style is both modern and classic.

Right away this jacket smells authentic. The leather is supple to the touch, with solid construction and nice lines. It is lighter than anticipated, though many people have complimented it and it does wear quite nice.
I dislike the rather crude cuts of the leather around the zipper and insides, taking away from the overall fit and finish. It is not an overly warm jacket, with adequate venting. The vents though actually cause a lot of lift at speed as the rear is without vents.
It is not the most comfortable jacket for me personally, but is not uncomfortable. 6'3" 214 with solid build, I may have gotten the L instead of the XL. Though it does leave room for a hoody on the colder mornings and nights I can say it likes shorty gloves, rather than gauntlets.
The great thing about it is that it's style and color look good on a sportbike, or bobber, and most likely any other bike

On the bike or for every day
I really wanted something I could wear while riding to my destination and when I hopped off. I had been exploring leather jackets for a while (Schott and RSD) and when I came across AGV's version of the classic leather motorcycle jacket I had to try it out. First of all can't argue with price and the pictures don't do it justice...at all. The color is great, my only gripe would be if it were darker brown, maybe AGV will have that option in their Fall line-up. I suppose you could always stain it but risky. The jacket smells great and wears very comfortable out of the box. As soon as it cools off I plan on wearing it everyday. I think it runs a little small, especially since you'll most likely be wearing a long sleeve underneath. I'm 5''11 with broad shoulders, almost 46 in chest, 34 in waist but had to exchange for an XL after trying the L, fits like tailor made. Armor can be easily enough removed so you don't look too hulking but I really don't think it looks that bad walking around the town. I cannot stress the price point enough, you'll be paying closer to $600 for a jacket that's not as good and doesn't include armor, and is really of motorcycle styling but not meant for taking a spill. Everything about the jacket plays the part, right down to the antique finish in the grippy brass YKK zippers! AGV is def. on my radar for future jackets.

Great value; actually a steal at the price.
Very well made with what looks and feels like thick, high grade leather. The air vents are plentiful though probably won't do the job during the hot Texas summer. The color is nice out of the box but I put waterproofing (with beeswax) on the jacket and it darkened it to a beautiful chocolate brown color. The ce armor seems it will be very protective though thankfully I haven't had to test that out yet. The fit if perfect for me with the large size providing a comfortable fit with some slight extra room for layering. However, It may be a little tight around the mid-section for people with large stomachs. The zippers slide easily. Without the armor in it could probably be worn as a regular jacket because the styling is quite nice.
