AGV Sport Corsica Kevlar Jeans 4.1 5 39 39
Order 2 sizes larger! I am 6'0 / 198 lbs. Flat tummy but medium muscular build. XL shirts. I wear 505 in 34x32 and they fit me perfectly. Based on other reviews I ordered the AGV Corsica in 36x32. The AGV waist size 36 is about equivalent to the 505 waist size 34 but still the AGV jeans are extremely tight on the thighs. They would marginally work on my 1200GS ADV (upright seating) but are impracticable on my K1300S (sport oriented position). My 17 year old son wears 505 32x32 and the AGV 36x32 fit his legs nicely and are just a bit wide at the waist. Since he rides too, I gave them to him. It seems that I will need a 38x32 to be comfortable in the thighs and it will probably be a bit wide at the waist. I never had this sizing issue before and I do not have weightlifter legs, so it seems to confirm that the AGV Corsica are cut really really tight. Order 2 sizes larger unless your legs are on the skinny side in which case you will probably be OK with 1 size larger... I also got a pair of Icon D3O Knee Pads and they fit well and are essentially invisible in the AGV Corsica, hence you can have good protection while still being business casual. March 14, 2014
Well made and stylish. Comfortable and good looking jeans with good protection. I used other reviews here to try to gauge my correct size and decided on a 36x36. They are still a bit tight. Should have been 38x36. I am 6'3 and weigh 185lb. Apart from that, great buy. I would return it for the correct size, but I live in South Africa and the postage costs don't make it worth my while. Not what I was expecting They do not look like normal looking jeans in my opinion unless you're trying to bring the Wrangler rodeo cowboy look back. In that case, you're better off on a horse than a bike/ They were far different from the photos which is why I was a bit surprised when I saw them. I was expecting them to be a bit dark and more slim fitting than how they actually were. I guess I could now see why Revzilla chose not to do a video review of the jeans due to it's looks. In terms of protection, it does seem that it well constructed and will be skin saver in a fall. Had the jeans been a bit more modern- slim fit, a more raw denim look- I think I would have kept them, but it just didn't match the look I was going for. I rock a Biltwell Gringo with a lite mirror bubble shield, Aerostich elkskin gloves, custom brown Icon Super Duty 3 boots, and a Tobacco brown Roland Sands Ronin Jacket along with my Red and white custom Triumph Scrambler Cafe. With that said, these will be going back. I could see these jeans working with the cruiser crowd, but they were just not my cup of tea. February 10, 2014
Nice jeans, but super small I'd not previously worn a pair of Kevlar jeans, so didn't know what to expect. These appear to be well-made, the fabric is soft, and I imagine they would be comfortable to wear if I could fit into them. They also look a lot more like regular jeans than I'd expected them to. I don't think anyone would look twice at them in any environment where jeans are considered appropriate dress. But they are sized very small. I'm 6'4" and 200lbs. In Levi's 501 STF, a 38" waist is loose on me and I can comfortably get away with a 36". In GAP or other non-shrinking jeans, a 36" is loose. I ordered these in 36"x34" thinking I might fit some armor under them if they were too loose, which I can definitely so with my 36" GAP jeans. No way that's going to happen here. I could not even get them up over my hips. Forget about buttoning them up. February 4, 2014
Do not buy! I bought these jeans to ride my car with and it was a huge mistake. I am a skinny guy 5'11" 145lbs and these jeans were way to tight. the waist fit but the butt and legs were skin tight. I was barely able to fit knee pads in these jeans and i wasn't able to bend my knees because they were so tight. If this review helps at least one person i will be happy. The bottom leg opening were very small and wouldn't fit over my boots. Trust me if i could hardly fit in these things anyone else would have to grease up their legs to get these things on. Good fit! After trying a number of different protective jeans with kevlar these, by far, provide the best fit for me. Others were too baggy in wrong places. January 20, 2014
Functional The pants were a good purchase. The seem to be solid. I would expect it to perform well in a crash but I hope to never find out. Not the most stylish pair of jeans I have but I am happy with my purchase. January 13, 2014
Easily in the level of jeans costing twice as much Really nice jeans, without the look of paneled look of most kevlar pants (not that I don't like those as well), the protection is beyond other pants in this level, with inner liner (mesh) and pockets in the knee area to inset armor pads Additionally, If you are into decals and stickers this is the one for you as it comes with several "AGV sport" decals (and add to that the revzilla stickers included as well) and you should have plenty of them to make your bike faster (everybody knows that each sticker adds 5 hp right?) ;) Overall nice, really nice pants (although a little slim in the leg opening, not really sure it will fit over my boots) January 11, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Bill B: Wanted a minimal protective pant. Apr 13, 2014
Pascal B: Bought a pair in 36x32 (I wear 505 in 34x32). They were too tight but they fit my son well (he wears 505 32x32). Since he rides too, I gave them to him because they are well made, have great Kevlar coverage and accept the Icon D3O Knee Pads very discretely. I am therefore now buying a second pair in 38x32 for myself. Beware Italian sizing! Order 2 sizes larger unless you have skinny legs, in which case you will be OK with 1 size larger. Mar 14, 2014

Donnie B: The value is tremendous, especially considering how much kevlar is sewn into the inside. These actually look like real jeans too, instead of denim baseball pants with separated knee areas. Oct 23, 2013

Fernando L: These AGV Sport Corsica Kevlar Jeans are low cost and of good quality. I've used mine for a few months and they feel great, the stitching is good and the jeans are sturdy. Oct 16, 2013

Matthew V asked: One reviewer mentioned the back pockets have flaps with an offset button. Is this true? I can't find a single picture anywhere that shows the back pockets. Thanks! Jan 19, 2014

George V: There no flaps on the back pockets. I love these jeans, if you have a slim build you will too. I'm 6'3 and 168lbs and purchased 32x36 size. They fit like Wangler slim fit jeans, but sit lower. They also have a button fly.
Hope this helps,
George V.

JOHN T: Hi Matthew, I'm looking at them right now. These pants' back pockets have neither flap nor button. Also, be aware that they run VERY small. I've worn and still wear 32 x 32 jeans, and I could not fit into these pants. It wasn't just a little tight because they aren't relaxed fit, I literally could not my legs through them. I'm 5' 9.5", currently about 185 lbs. They were close to my wife's size, so I gave them to her. She's 5' 4", [redacted] lbs.

She doesn't like them because they're cut for men and don't sit well on her, but they'll protect her if she skids, so rather than go through the hassle of trying to exchange them, we kept them.

Rodney M: There is no flap on the back. The pockets are like those on regular denim jeans. I'd also like to add, if you ride a sport bike, get a longer inseam than your normal jeans. They look fine when standing or sitting. When riding, the legs ride up, and if you're not wearing racing boots or boots that come up around your calf, your legs will be exposed. Jan 23, 2014

A shopper asked: Do these jeans have pockets for armor? Also, I normally wear 34 x 34, but they tend to be a little short when riding. Do theses run longer? Dec 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Fernando L: The AGV Sport Corsica Kevlar Jeans measure pretty much like any other regular jeans that I use. I wear a 32x32 and fit just like regular Levis slim fit, a little snug but not uncomfortably tight. If your regular every day jeans are a little short, then you may want to buy one size longer. Keep in mind that the Kevlar runs just below the knee but not all the way down so if your jeans are a little too long, they can be adjusted by a seamstress or tailor. The Kevlar in between the jean and an inside liner which has pockets for protectors, however, I have to use a base layer because the liner tends to be a little rough/scratchy on my legs. The base layer makes using the jeans much more comfortable. The jeans are well made, very good quality and look very good, very fashionable when using off the bike. The legs are tapered and look good with riding shoes and short boots but can be a seem a little tight with longer boots; I don't fancy the look with regular boots. Dec 7, 2013

Robert S: I usually wear a 36x34, went with a 36x36 to be sure. It is a great fit length-wise. The pockets for armor are there; but with a skinnier pant, there isn't much room to fit anything else. Otherwise, they are great pants, and I love the quick-dry material they are lined with. I rode in 100 degree weather and was certainly hot, but not stifled like I presumed I would be. Get em! George B: They have knee pockets for armor, but I don't think they offer the armor as an option. I cut down a pair of BMW knee pads to fit mine. I think the sizes run about the same as Levi's 501 jeans, or slightly smaller. Also, unfortunately, like 501's, they have a button fly, rather than a zipper.

Peter H: They don't have pockets for armor. They do have a nice fit yet I also use them over hard knee/shin protectors and armored under shorts.

Seem to run normal length - certainly no problems with riding over boots (icon reign).
