If you don't care about durability and only air flow, get this jacket.
I bought this jacket for the improved air flow when commuting. In this, the jacket does very well. Even when sitting in traffic in 80 deg F sun, I wasn't sweating. Putting the jacket on and taking it off is a bit cumbersome due to the armor that is stiffer than my winter jacket. The back protector it comes with is very flimsy and I immediately ordered a CE rated one. The zipper is difficult and often doesn't mesh properly. The stitching is starting to come undone a month of use later. There are half a dozen threads hanging off the inside of the jacket. The neck hole is too small for my neck (which I consider average). This means I don't do up the velcro neck strap. This then flaps around irritating my neck.

Excellent jacket overall but victim to extreme vanity sizing!
Quality: This jacket feels like a more expensive jacket. Construction and stitching seem to be really nice and strong. This is my first mesh jacket, but it feels quite thick and sturdy on non mesh parts. The jacket liner is very simple and thin, and seems to do exactly what is promises, which is keep water out and nothing more. This can be removed and added back in by a zipper and snap buttons at each cuff. The liner itself is small enough to fold up into a pocket to keep with you on a ride.
Protection: Obviously this is a lower protection jacket but for some riders it may fit the bill nicely. It does have shoulder, elbow, and back protectors that can be changed from the ones that are included. There are also straps above and below the elbow to keep the shoulder pads in place in the event of a slide.
Comfort: The jacket itself is comfortable, as in, while standing still and/or sitting on your bike. Wearing it like this, it doesn't feel like it would be that cool for a hot summer day, however it's designed to really work with the airflow while riding. Two large mesh sections in the front middle allow lots of air into and through the jacket while riding which is great, pretty much what you'd expect from a decent mesh jacket, while still having at least some arm and shoulder protection. As for riding position, the jacket feels right at home and comfortable while on a bike but isn't too aggressive if you happen to be standing around wearing it before or after a ride.
Size: My biggest hesitation when ordering this jacket was sizing. The video review seemed to demonstrate some really intense vanity sizing and it was spot on. For example, I'm 6'2" and weigh 173 pounds as of this morning for a BMI of 22.2, right in the middle of normal weight. I'm not muscular by any means, just very average guy. I purchased a Small in this jacket and it fits great, I even have enough room to put a sweatshirt underneath if I wanted. This jacket definitely fits very, very large. Generally a Medium will fit very snug on me, and for things like sweatshirts I sometimes get a Large. Small shirts are almost always too tight to wear in public for me. Hopefully this helps, if you're about my size definitely grab the Small. The jacket has velcro straps on the hips too so even with the extra room you can tighten it to a more fitted fit at your waist.
This jacket is a definite buy for riders and commuters, especially if you live in a more densely populated area or more urban setting with slightly lower-than-highway speeds and moderate weather with occasional rain. If you spend most of your time on the freeway I might suggest a more protective jacket for safety, but that's all personal preference.

can't believe no one has reviewed this bad boy yet. Just got mine today and I haven't ridden with it yet, but i can already tell i'm going to love it. Mesh material with a removable liner inside. Also it's got plenty of straps so you can size it however you need to. It looks great and fits great. I'm a tall skinny fella and the small fits me perfectly, i just had to tighten some of the adjustment straps. The armor feels sturdy in place and will do a decent job in a low speed wreck I'm sure. definitely recommend this for the casual rider.

Kevin H: My cousin went down pretty hard riding this afternoon, only a few scrapes and bruises. But he was wearing a jacket similar to this. I've only been wearing a hoody to ride in, I'm going on a road trip soon and decided I needed something more stout then just my favorite sweatshirt.Jun 1, 2014
A shopper asked:what does the back look like? Can you show me an image?Jul 29, 2014
A shopper asked:1. The smallest size 'SM' is not mentioned in the size chart, so what is the actual chest & waist specification ?. 2. Smallest chest size at 42" seems rather large - most other jackets including AGV's parent co.'s Dainese start at much lower 33-34 " sizes. Is the size chart for AGV textile jackets correct ?Mar 7, 2015
