Not dark enough
In the case of an inner visor that I can lift at will I would expect it to be at least as dark as sunglasses. The dark smoke is unfortunately not that dark.
I like having an inner shield as it is a perfect solution when I am on the street (as opposed to the track) but it really does need to be darker to handle sunrise and sunset situations.

Tabs break upon removal
Internal visor works great. Becoming pretty standard fair but I'm glad my favorite helmet manufacturer included on a great helmet.
I cracked a single tab the first time tried removing to clean. Finally just broke entire tabbed wing and it's almost is useless as it doesn't go up/down well.
I think I was pushing eject tabs wrong way but the manual won't help at all. Removing inner visor wasn't in your excellent review, either. I would think about including this on future reviews.
Average rating purely because I am spending $40 on a replacement for poorly defined removal steps.

stephan k: Chose the gold iridium. Usually I have the black visor on anyways, but on really hot days with slow traffic I run the internal visor only. Both together are btw excellent in this nasty sunset twilight blending light.Jul 30, 2014
A shopper asked:Would one of these shields work in a K3 SV?Dec 4, 2014
Michael C:I am pretty sure it is compatible in the K3 SV. I bought visors for my Horizon and had no problems. Checked the web and other online stores suggest that the Visors are cross compatible between the Horizon and K3. So your confidence ought to be pretty good.
