I bought these because my AGV Grid seemed a little too loose around the cheeks and I could feel it moving around at speed. My helmet is a size medium and I ordered small cheek pads. Took 5 minutes to install and now it fits perfect.

XS cheek pads fit in Large helmet ((Grid))
I bought the cheek pads, because I have a weird shaped head. I was initially under the impression you can only use the cheek pads for that specific shell shape. Well I found out that is incorrect.
Back to my weird shape head, I am sized for a large helmet and it fits perfectly on the crown of my head, but I have a thin face and the cheek pads wouldn't sit tight on my face. There was some wiggle room. I thought I was hosed since the XL cheek pads would have been thinner and wearing a Medium helmet hurts.
Well I emailed AGV for a list of the cheek pads in MM
(personally have no clue why they just don't list them like every other company that sells cheek pads). Quite quickly AGV America responded with a list.
XXS XS S M L XL XXL XXXL
40 35 30 25 30 25 30 25 (MM)
So, I decided to go 5 MM bigger and take a chance with the XS. Sure enough it popped right in with no issue, only thing is the lower piece by the ear will slightly fold up when I put the helmet on and I have to take a second and move it down
with my finger. Besides that the helmet officially is perfect.
As always thanks REVzilla for amazing service

jeremy t asked:I have a XL large grid helmet. The cheek pads are what l would run for racing. There pretty snug for everyday driving IMO. Is there a thinner cheek pad than the XL pad I already have in my helmet or can I buy thinner ones without need to MOD?Mar 27, 2015
