AGV Diesel Hi-Jack Helmet

The Italian jeans company Diesel has teamed up with Italian helmet manufacturer AGV to produce a line of designer helmets. Diesel takes the helmet company in a different direction to their typical racing fare. The helicopter pilot style Hi-Jack helmet is dedicated to fans of customized equipment and riders who love life on the road while wishing to remain in line with the unconventional Diesel style. The attractive look, the range of chromatic variations in the graphics, and the unmistakable curve at the sides develop the aeronautic design that inspires the Hi-Jack helmet even further. The helmet is completed by the concealable visors in different tints that let the helmet be adapted to the needs and style of each and every rider and make his or her look even more decisive and rebellious.

The Diesel Hi-Jack was inspired from the world of helicopter pilots, it is intended to those who want an original helmet that does not remain unnoticed. The seductive look, the graphic colors, and the side curved parts accentuate the new "aerospace" design that inspired that helmet. This helmet features a retractable face shield, also available in smoke and irridium silver versions, which allows to adapt its usage to the motorcyclist style and requirements.

Extremely Big in Every way! My other helmet from another brand is an L and it fits fine, but I got an L in this helmet and it's too big. It also APPEARS very large. It kind of takes away the cool factor of the helicopter pilot look when the helmet in proportion to your body makes you look like Fred Flintstone's alien friend, The Great Gazoo (run that through an internet image search for a laugh). Because it is too big, it feels loose and therefore unsafe, BUT I'm sure if it fit me, it would feel safer. The only reason I didn't return it is because I was sure my big head would fit a large and threw away the packaging before trying it on. Oops! May 20, 2013

Comfy and lightweight I've owned two AGVs beforehand and expected the fit to be slightly round but after pining over the killer style of it, I decided to try it anyway. To my surprise, the helmet was an intermediate oval and fit amazingly! The internal eye shield doesn't do too much to protect the eyes from wind, but using sunglasses while the shield is deployed works fine. The helmet comes in an AMAZING helmet bag; the best I've ever seen. The Diesel bag is a mini duffel bag with a shoulder strap! You have to see it! I've used it for groceries and beers already, LOL. Back to the helmet... I own a lot of Bell Custom 500s and a couple of Biltwell Bonanzas. This helmet is definitely more comfortable that those. It also has a removable liner which should come in handy during the summertime. Great helmet. Despite bikers of all types not knowing if they should wave at me or not when I pass by, i would definitely purchase again. In fact, I might get another one, but in a different colorway. May 7, 2013
Snug Fitting Unique Helmet I fit a Medium Shoei rf-1100 comfortably. I ordered a Medium Hi-Jack and it is slightly tighter. Perhaps because it is an open face helmet it has to be slight snugger. I have not worn it extensively so it may become slightly looser. Also the helmet is bigger than it seems in the picture. Overall a great looking helmet and very unique. April 30, 2013

Awesome design and comfortable fit. This helmet looks great, nice details. The chin strap is easy to use and doesn't require a lot of fuss. It is my first helmet ever, so I cannot compare noise to other helmets. Its is super comfortable. January 14, 2013
Just like a chopper pilot! This is a SWEET looking helmet. It looks just like it was taken out of a helicopter cockpit. That's good and bad. It looks cool, and the aerodynamics down its sides make it quieter than average. Here's the downside: it's a BIG helmet. The outer shell is HUGE. I'm disappointed the pulldown visor is clear and not tinted, although, you have to wear a second set of glasses anyway, because of the turbulence that makes your eyes water. It comes is a really neat military-style pack that can hold a lot of gear AND your helmet at the same time. I got it for a price that was too good to pass up, so I have no regrets. I like it.
