AFX FX-90 HiViz Helmet
This helmet is great
I bought this helmet for my wife as a gift. She love it since the first time she opens the box. When she try it on she was so happy. I used to ride my motorcycle and this helmet is very very comfy. Highly recommend this product.

Good for price
Don't expect much in terms of features, lots of other helmets will give much more however the price is much higher.
If you're looking for a cheap helmet that is 99% as safe as much more expensive ones, this helmet is for you.
Would recommend the hi viz, it really does increase your visibility.

Admittedly, I was looking for a helmet to wear on patriotic occasions like the 4th of July, 9/11, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and on group rides etc... I was not looking for a track day or commuting helmet that would see a lot of use. With that in mind, it is exactly what I was looking for. A big bold statement is being made when you choose to wear this helmet.
After receiving it, and being initially impressed with the quality, I decided to see if I could put communications in it so I could use it more frequently than planned. However, I soon realized that it does not have adequate space to fit a SENA Bluetooth speaker set without some adjustments to the cheek pad. I messed around with it until I made it fit. When I took it out for a two-day long distance road trip it became apparent that as a result of not being designed with communication devices in mind, the maximum volume setting on my SENA can barely be heard at "highway" speeds because of the helmet's noise characteristics. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this helmet. If you ride with earplugs, this helmet will not be too loud for you.
It runs larger and wider than other common helmet brands and it's comparable to HJC's budget models. I got an #XL# and it was too loose so I ordered the #L# size guts which snugged things up and made it fit me perfectly. There are two shell sizes for the FX-90. The smaller shell goes up to size #M# and the larger shell starts at size #L# and up. Keep that in mind if you end up ordering cheek pads or comfort liners.
The bottom line is, you get a chin curtain, nose/breath guard, and a overall comfortable and good looking helmet for $80.00. Spend a few more dollars and get the dark smoke and mirror tinted visors and you're good to go for around $100.00. That is a great price point and you are getting more than your money's worth with this helmet.

Lot of helmet for a little price.
This helmet was bought to protect my son, who is a relatively inexperienced rider himself (despite having ridden with me for over 10 years). He liked the idea of a full faced helmet and I figured anything that makes him more visible is a good thing. He very much likes the styling and the comfort of this helmet. He is able to wear his prescription glasses and says that the field of vision is extremely good, even with wearing his glasses. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Yellow is YELLOW!
Forget what the picture shows you: when you order yellow, you WILL get yellow. I wanted a hi-vis colored helmet like it was shown in the picture but it turned out to be a true yellow color to my disappointment. Besides the color, the helmet seems to be pretty good for the price.

Simple at a great price
A DOT and ECE approved helmet, for a great price. I like the simple, no flairs look of the flat black. Its pretty light weight and fits comfortable. I do think the fit a little bigger than other helmets. I normally wear a medium and they fit snuggly; this one felt a bit looser, but still well enough to ride. I'm actually getting a 2nd one for my girlfriend.

Nice enough for the price, but pads already too loose after 3.5 months
I have a rounder head with a flatter forehead @ 21 5/8 inches in circumference.
This helmet is definitely made for a narrower head. I have small, medium, and large helmets because it is more affordable; the large helmet was free with my bike purchase and is no longer used.
During cooler months and the rainy weather, the visor will fog up, so be prepared to crack the visor for additional airflow, cold air, and rain water.
The helmet seems loud, so I use headphones/earplugs nearly every ride. Don't forget the earplugs at freeway speeds. I've managed to keep my shoulders in a shrug position to lessen the wind noise, but this can be tiring and cause stiffness when emergency maneuvers are needed.
It was dropped once from a bathroom sink onto tile floors without issue.
The Small helmet is preferred for traveling since it felt snug when new, which helped stabilize my eyeglasses. However, after 3.5 summer-months of riding nearly every night in Texas, the pads have broken-in far too much for my liking (the Medium helmet is used during the day for added air flow). At first, I often wondered if the small helmet would ever break in since it was too snug in the beginning....
During head-checks for lane changes nowadays, the wind will move it a little while riding my Ninja 300. I've tried various riding positions and head-check techniques to minimize its movement, but it just isn't good enough since I wear eyeglasses daily and almost never use contact lenses.
If anyone has helmet recommendations for eyeglass wearers, this would be great.
On a positive note, I have received plenty compliments on the Flat Black color. It's a shame no other manufacturer does Flat Black since it has less sheen/gloss than Matte Black.

Biker on a budget helmet
Wind noise is alright, very bad at 100+ but hey, what helmet wouldn't be bad. With the volume cranked to the max (I'm something like 1/2 deaf to begin with), I can still hear whoever I'm riding with clearly through my Sena SMH5 over the wind so headsets work great.
Love the American Flag design
Airflow sucks, but if you are in-town, you can keep your shield open sometimes to cool down
Yes there are other cheap helmets out there but none with this design so that's why I chose it. Would recommend to anyone.
Plus I got a Silver Mirrored shield and I love it. Perfect amount of tint
