FYI, the instructions call for a 16 mm hole - a 5/8 masonry drill is fine (only .005" smaller than 16 mm). Preferable to use a drill/hammer, but I did it with ust a good drill although I needed two bits. Expect to spend some elbow grease.
Once in, this thing can hold a tank!

What a anchor! Heavy and comes with all the fittings and instruction. Took about 30 mins to install and looks great on the floor as well.

RevZilla:Once this anchor is installed, it is pretty difficult to move. Otherwise, it would not be much of a security device, would it? If you did manage to get it up, you would need some new 16mm concrete bolts. Some folks recommend drilling the bolts out, but this does not sound like it is for the faint of heart.May 31, 2013
A shopper asked:I'm planning on moving in the next couple of months, so I was wondering if the lock can be easily removed from a wall/floor after it has been installed so I can take it with me, or is it a permanent installation?Jun 10, 2012
