Great security, great value Very pleased with this anchor lock. Impenetrable against all but the most determined thief. Easy to install if you have a rotary hammer drill (16mm). I anchored it off the ground on my concrete wall to make it that much harder for a thief with bolt cutters. I also use it to secure other attractive items in my garage, not just my motorbike. The anchor lock is paired with an Abus chain and disc lock, so I can sleep well (and get a deduction on my insurance). March 30, 2015
Metric/English FYI, the instructions call for a 16 mm hole - a 5/8 masonry drill is fine (only .005" smaller than 16 mm). Preferable to use a drill/hammer, but I did it with ust a good drill although I needed two bits. Expect to spend some elbow grease. Once in, this thing can hold a tank! August 25, 2013
use and no one will steal your bike What a anchor! Heavy and comes with all the fittings and instruction. Took about 30 mins to install and looks great on the floor as well. May 29, 2013

RevZilla: Once this anchor is installed, it is pretty difficult to move. Otherwise, it would not be much of a security device, would it? If you did manage to get it up, you would need some new 16mm concrete bolts. Some folks recommend drilling the bolts out, but this does not sound like it is for the faint of heart. May 31, 2013

Pagey: Yes you can move it. But you would have to get new bolts as you will not get them out of the ground after installation May 29, 2013

A shopper asked: I'm planning on moving in the next couple of months, so I was wondering if the lock can be easily removed from a wall/floor after it has been installed so I can take it with me, or is it a permanent installation? Jun 10, 2012
