Abus Granit Victory X-Plus 68 Roll Up Brake Disc Lock
Horrible build quality
The actual "lock part" of this lock seems to work fine. Heavy duty, good mechanism, etc. However, the string and spring that attach the cord to the lock is total garbage. I've used the lock about 25-30 times, and it's totally fallen apart. It's been kept in its protective bag under my rear seat when not in use.

This lock is awesome! I could tell right away it was great quality. I like that the shape/style of the lock is a little less common as well ( less known ways to break it haha).
Only reason I gave it four stars is because I thought I was getting the neon "reminder" cord (in the video) as well. A bit misleading.
Overall sweet lock!

I've had this lock for over three years and it still works great. Small enough to thrown in a backpack or even in your pocket, yet tough enough to protect your bike. Virtually impossible to cut (due to the slanted design) and the bright yellow reminder cord keeps you from making the ultimate mistake of taking off while it's still on your wheel. Well worth the money.

Gets the job done.
I received this lock 25 hours after ordering, with free shipping which is remarkable. This lock feels beefy right out of the box which is nice but not necessarily a testament to the build quality, who knows. I was worried that the large pin wouldn't fit on my small drz400 back brake but I encountered no issues even with all of the spokes in the mix. When first opening the lock I got some of the lubrication on my hand which made it difficult to hold in order to open it but I think if I'm more careful then it shouldn't be an issue. It is definitely a pain to open because of the spinning feature which protects against cutting it open, so in the end it's a very welcome tradeoff in my opinion. It is also fairly compact compared to other locks. I don't have much hope for the reminder string as it's gimicky right out of the box but that's not a big deal to me. Contrary to the recommendation, I am using the little holster it came with on the outside of my bike since I have no storage, so we'll see how that goes. All in all, what seems to be a very good lock and a worthwhile investment.

A very good lock
The best alarm-less disk lock I know of. Not as common as conventional disk locks, so I guess less people know how to break them.

Didn't work for me
The lock is much bigger than it appears and there was no way I could get this on my rotor. Unlike a pin lock, this lock splits into two separate pieces when it's opened and has to pass through a hole that isn't big enough for the lock to pass through. On my Buell, everything was either too bulky for the lock to latch or to narrow for it to pass through.
The lanyard is a joke, it's too short to reach anything and just fell off the lock body multiple times while I was trying to fit it. There is a spring inside that retracts the lanyard and nothing holds it in so when the body pops off (and it will) the spring pops out and has to bee rewound to get it back inside.
The lock body rotates freely around the lock cylinder which is supposed to make it harder to defeat but it really just makes it harder to open.
I replaced this with a Xena alarm pin lock and it just worked right out of the box.
This thing is gimmicky and poorly designed and the only reason I haven't returned it is because it might be useful to lock up something else, like a chain.

Save yourself a few bucks.....
I purchased this model based on the reminder cord that is attached. The cord pulled out of the unit after about two weeks. The lock itself is great. Save some money and spring for the lock without the self retracting reminder cord.

This thing is sturdy. I doubt that anyone in their right mind will have the patience nor the tools to cut through this thing. 3 pieces it is made out of freely rotates making cutting attacks a lot less effective. The built in reminder cable assures you won't ride away with the disc lock still engaged!
