Troy Lee KG 5450 Knee Guards
"Lite" knee guards
These are quick and easy to slip on, stay put on your knee, and are very slim. Practically invisible under jeans and comfortable to wear all day.
The downside is like any slim/light protective gear, there's a trade off to protection. The padding is very thin(1/2" or so) with a pretty flexible plastic plate in between- hard impacts go right through them. I wouldn't suggest doing the "drop onto concrete" test wearing these. These are more to guard against abrasions and cuts rather than impacts.
I typically prefer something a little more substantial, but if you're looking for a minimalist, light knee pad, these are a great choice.

Comfortable, easy on and off, great protection
I wear these with Scorpion Covert Pro Jeans, TCX-X Street shoes and Alpinestar Bionic Freeride shorts. I feel well protected in a worse case scenario YET very comfortable for every day riding. Great in hot SoCal summer riding. It's a win-win.

These work well under jeans
I don't have lined jeans or proper riding pants so I thought I would buy these to go under jeans or shorts for some protection. I am a huge fella at 6'3" 305 lbs. and I bought the XL's wishing they sold XXL. Man they did fit tight and the first couple of rides I had to gingerly slide them up the legs as I heard seems stretching. But stretch they did and now they fit nicely. I can keep them on all day with a small amount of sweat underneath. Nothing that will make you stink.
I don't know how well they will protect. I figure they will prevent serious road rash from the knee to lower calf. I felt if I hit the armor plates from the side they would just move out of the way and I would still break my knee. I would say it mentally made me feel a little safer, especially since I wear no lower body armor without these.
All in all a decent buy but don't expect anything amazing.

These are still pretty warm under Klim Mohave pants and even the lightest cotton pants I own. Maybe I'll wear them with shorts , or under pants and wrestle them off when I 'get there'.This is probably more bearable on a cruiser . On a BMW R1200ST there is no ventilation for 6'' in either direction from your knee. Good protection and they stay put . We just don't get that many 70 degree days here [anywhere]

Fits like a glove (or a knee should)
Purchased a medium based on the recommendation of a Revzilla staffer. I am 5'10" tall and weigh 185 pounds. Was told to buy the size of my underwear. The fit was spot on. Wore these knee guards over 9 days in hot, hazy, and humid weather in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio. There are NO irritating straps to worry about with these knee guards. You slide your leg through spandex-like material. There is no material behind your knee so sweat doesn't collect there. Each day back at the hotel, I would place the knee guards over the air conditioning vents and they'd be dry by the next morning. The knee guards themselves offer complete shin protection right to the top of my Alpinestars Web boots. I wish I bought these 15 years ago (if they were available then). I wear them underneath a pair of Levi's.

Very comfortable, you forget you have them on.
Very comfortable, much better than my old ones..my old ones covered a bigger area, but they also dug into my shin & left a nasty cut when I went down @ 90mph..That won't happen with these..make sure you wear proper racing boots & your lower shins will be fine

Does what it is meant to do.
Fits nicely, no fear of it coming off or moving. They are very comfortable as well.

Got these for my daughter, they fit good, and they stay in place while riding, and walking- she even uses these at the gym, every day- would recommend this product
