Troy Lee BP 7605 Armored Shorts 4 5 1 1
Not ultra heavy duty but good lightweight protection. The armour on these shorts is adequate for most cycling adventures. However, I bought them hoping to use the shorts on my motorcycle but they aren't really suitable as the level of protection isn't enough to make you feel confident in quick riding scenarios. I thought I could put these shorts on under a pair of jeans and get good protection instead of having to suit up every time I took my bike out but that's not the case. In all fairness though they work great doing what they were designed for so I'll just use em on my mountain bikes. January 20, 2014
