Looking for Waterproof, good fitting pants? Look elsewhere. Ok, I see there are no reviews and I wish there was some good info before I bought these. There is virtually no published information on these pants anywhere on the web, and what is there is usually sponsored by the manufacture or a shop. So, here it goes: FIT: True to size. These are not designed to fit over other pants, i.e. track pants, jeans, work clothes, etc. The waist fits like your pants do. CLARIFICATION on the internal size adjuster: it will adjust DOWN one full size, not "a size" in either direction. The waist fits fine, the crotch is a little tight, the length is long when standing - ok when sitting, but the width in the knee region is borderline stupendous. WORKMANSHIP: Made in China...it's not terrible, but at least they're not charging $500 for them either. Looks like they'd last a little while. STYLE/FIT: The waist fits fine. From there everything goes downhill. There is so much room in the knees it's not even funny. Yes, they were made to go over knee braces or pads. BUT, are your braces GINORMOUS? Because the spacing provided is. If you don't wear knee pads, these pants are stupidly big. VENTING: BIGGEST DOWNFALL!!! ZERO VENTS! ABSOLUTELY NONE! So, if you're only supposed to wear your boxers or a light pair of under armor under these, how the he#@ are you supposed to get airflow when it gets too hot?!!! I mean seriously!!! Even my snowboard pants have a few zippered vents. These SUCK for heat buildup. If you can't wear pants under them, you can't take them off can you? Do you guys even ride? I did 7,000 miles in the last 3 months and I knew within 10 minutes of trying them on that they were garbage. PROTECTION: D30? Give me a break. There are two tiny little pads of D30. And I mean tiny. Maybe 6" tall by 3.5" wide and .25 inches thick. Are you kidding me? Nice try MSR, but you and I know you're using this as a selling point and it's useless. Thanks for including the scraps that fell off of the cutting table floor and calling them a "exclusive feature" what a joke. August 14, 2012

All MSR pants are made to the same size spec. The waist size of MSR pants corresponds with the fit of most jeans, so your MSR pant should be the same as your jeans' waist measurement. MSR pants can be securely adjusted up to the next even size by using the dual side adjusters and or center ratchet buckle. We would be reluctant to confirm if your particular knee brace could fit but if you try them on and they do not fit just send them back in new condition with the tags for a full refund.

Yes, they fit like your jeans do. They are not designed to go over other pants though. The room provided for Knee braces and pads is ridiculously big. Almost stupidly big. Beware though...absolutely ZERO venting provided!!! Tie a trash bag around your legs on a hot day and if you like that, then buy these.

Yes. They are true to measured size. In other words, I used a tape to measure my waist and the pants fit as advertised. You may know that most pants are bigger than the size (vanity sizing) but these are accurate. I wear 32 and bought 32. I wear full ortho braces with knee pads built in and have no issues. Read my review of the cuff though.
