Love them but they'll scratch your bike The only thing to lookout for is the metal rivets at the knee will scratch the side of your bike. I put little felt buttons on the inside rivets to stop the scratching. Otherwise I love these things. Real easy to put on and off. Light and breathable. I think well worth the $50. May 11, 2015
Nice product for the price Nice product for the price, Fit well and good materials September 15, 2014
inadequate knee padding Initially thought these were really good but following an 8 day offroad ride with a couple of crashes I am not happy with them. The foam under the knee cap area is too soft and compresses on impact which means your knee hits the back of the knee protection area and leaves a bruise that is the same imprint of the channel that crosses the knee cap area. they are also awkward to walk around in since they do not straighten out. Some have said to swap left and right but when I tried that I got scratches above the knee. Try them both ways to see how they fit best. I was told the foam under the knee is memory foam, if so then that is useless for crash protection and only good for comfort. August 28, 2014
Great product. Most of my riding is in country with lots of large rocks. I have crashed with these and they stay put and I never feel the rocks. I have had the brace stuck in the fully bent position once. I had over extended the joint and one of the overlapping "plates" stuck on another part. Pressing down on the plate that was out of place so that it slid under the other plate cured the problem. They fit nicely into my MX boot tops and are comfortable. August 19, 2014
Great bang for the buck! I wish these were made with size options! They fit my boyfriend well and he found them to be a lot of protection for the $. He thinks the range of motion is excellent. his only complaint is when he is straight legged they are a bit uncomfortable on the shins. June 9, 2014
Decent, but not what I was expecting As always Revzilla got the product to me quick and it perfect condition. The only downside I can tell from this product so far is it is huge! I saw reviews where people said they could wear them under jeans and with boots, but that isn't the case for me. They come down to about 2 inches above my running shoes so I doubt I could wear boots with them, and as far as wearing them under jeans it isn't going to happen. I'm guessing I'm a lot smaller (5'7" 30x30 in jeans) than other reviewers because I tries and it just wont go in. So if you want something to wear outside of jeans then these are great and offer great coverage and mobility while be comfortable. If you want something under jeans then find something else. This product does what it is supposed to do. A good value for the protection you need. I specialize in good communication skills. The above review is what every person riding wants to understand. October 28, 2013
Great protection for the money They are not the best knee protection out there but they are decently made and offer substantial protection. Range of movement is great and they are comfortable. October 7, 2013

Douglas P: A riding buddy was wearing these guards on a recent ride. I tried them on - they were confortable and offered protection from the top of my boot to mid thigh. Much superior to the kneepads in my riding pants that WILL NOT stay in the proper position. Sep 18, 2014

A shopper asked: I am learning off-road skills on my DR650 Dual Sport and want to buy some knee/shin guards.
Are these suitable in MX boots and under MX pants?
How do these compare in protection to something like the "Thor Force" type knee/shin guards?
Is there a RevZilla video review of this product?

GREGORY P: These fit under AGV Sport Corsica Kevlar Jeans (which are pretty tight - see product description) - but you have to peel the jeans off turning them inside-out to get the jeans off. Don't know about MX. They click when you walk as the only annoying thing. Takes about 5 seconds to put each one on once adusted. They come down to the top of my boots and about 1/3 to 1/2 up the thigh depending whether I am standing or sitting. I am 5'10". I have not come off in these but would assume they would work best under some abrasion resistant garment to prevent displacement. They are comfortable. I have worn these for several hours at a time. In warm temperatures you will sweat under the neoprene. Sep 25, 2013

David G: Yes, I actually use them under jeans with mx boots on the street and they are awesome! I l originally posted a poor review of this product but shortly theteafter wished I wouldn't have. They are extremely comfortable, adjustment is a snap and they offer much better protection than similarly priced but inferior products. You won' t be disappointed, get em.

k rowland S: Mine fit fine under over the boot type off road pants but I could not get them into my No Fear MX boots. I ended up buying some used shorty MX boots because I like the Reflex Knee Guards for off road use but didn't like a full MX boot anyway in the type of terrain I was riding in Sep 26, 2013

Jee L: These knee/shin guards offer awesome protection! I don'tthink these will fit but iI may be incorrect. They wouldn't fit under pants unless they we M.C. hammer type baggie.
