Basic Protection layer i bought these to wear in the summer time as an extra added layer of protection, none of the pads are going to absorb any kind of crazy impact, but it will surely take away a little of the force. Size is true to fit, doesnt really feel like its there while riding. Overall you cant go wrong. April 3, 2013

The general sizing for undershorts is based off of your waist measurement and is as follows.
Small - 30
Medium - 32
Large -34
Extra Large - 36
We would recommend using your underwear size.
