These skins are really cut/designed in the style of bicycle riding shorts. The padding is there, yet pretty thin, and as such this should complement another solution vice be the only padding that you're wearing.
It's comfortable enough, yet it does NOT breathe at all. Expect to get quite sweaty in these. It's made to go under other things - I wear them under a pair of motorcycle jeans and it does well in that role. I recommend underwear under them, however, or they'll wear out quickly with regard to smell, etc. Again - they do NOT breathe at all.
Sizing was spot on. I'm a 32-33 inch waist (5;8" high), and the medium was perfect.

Basic Protection layer
i bought these to wear in the summer time as an extra added layer of protection, none of the pads are going to absorb any kind of crazy impact, but it will surely take away a little of the force. Size is true to fit, doesnt really feel like its there while riding. Overall you cant go wrong.

hyuk jin s:I order this for my snowboard but i missed my shippement to go snowboarding so im not sure how it is. But I can tell it fits very comfy has Soft crotch pad cover front to back, Thighs pad and triangle shape tail bone pad these pads r soft pad but harder than crotch pad. As a rider my opinion.... I thing Its good for protect when u fall down wit ur bike or light impact. I may try out heavy duty looking body armor.
RevZilla:The general sizing for undershorts is based off of your waist measurement and is as follows. Small - 30 Medium - 32 Large -34 Extra Large - 36 We would recommend using your underwear size.Apr 13, 2012
A shopper asked:I am looking for an undershort to make me more comfortable on long rides. I am having problems finding a short without uncomfortable seams in the seat area. Is the seat area with the pad seam free? I don't mind if they have one seam right up the middle.Jul 8, 2015
Jerry B:It is quite comfortable there. It's built like a bike short in that it has a pad through the crotch area. It is sewn in; however, the pad is "thicker" than any seam, so it's quite easy to wear.Jul 8, 2015
