James Clark was a motorcycle enthusiast that was dissatisfied with the gaskets he found available, so he began to cultivate his own ideas for better sealing technology. In 1977 James started the James Gasket Company, paying close attention to quality and fit, he gained a reputation for producing superior products. James began supplying gaskets for a variety of Harley-Davidson models to an ever-growing group of enthusiasts and was credited with providing the much-needed sealing solution for the American V-Twin.
Before long James Gaskets was producing the most complete product line of Harley-Davidson aftermarket gaskets and seals in the industry. James' reputation for producing superior gaskets combined with his professional and personal ethic earned him the respect of industry leaders.
