Brandon Cretu Isle of Man TT 2012
The road to becoming a highly competitive motorcycle racer usually starts very young. Preeminent racers such as Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, and Ben Spies, each began their racing career before hitting their teens. Whether it’s access to the sport, or a family history of racing, succeeding in such an elite venture is extremely difficult.
Brandon Cretu doesn’t come from a family of motorcycle racers. In fact, he didn’t start racing until he was 21—despite his family’s concerns. However, within just a few years, Brandon managed to take his passion further than he would ever expect. By 2010, just 3 years after his first year racing at the expert level, Brandon was competing in the prestigious, invitation only, Isle of Man TT. This inspirational story has drawn RevZilla to Brandon, and inspired us to help him in any way we can.
As the youngest American to ever compete at the Isle of Man TT, Brandon Cretu, Supersport #40, is returning to the infamous island in a quest for his fastest TT ever! RevZilla.com is proud to support such a determined racer, with a story that gives Rocky a run for his money.
